Paid Hours
The Paid Hours page allows administrators and managers to view and manage paid working hours for staff using a calendar-based interface.
This page helps track work shifts, define start and end times for paid hours, and manage schedules for different dates.
Date Picker
Use the date picker at the top of the page to select a specific date. Selecting a date allows you to view or modify the paid working hours assigned for that particular day.
Week Navigation
Use the left and right arrows in the calendar section to move between weeks. This allows users to easily manage paid hours across different dates without needing to manually select each day.
Date Row
The calendar row displays the days of the current week.Each day represents a selectable date. When a day is selected, the system displays all recorded paid shifts for that date.
Daily Shift List
Below the calendar, the selected date is displayed along with the list of shifts assigned for that day. Each shift entry contains the following information:
Shift Number (#) :
Indicates the sequence number of the shift recorded for the selected date.
Start Time :
Shows the time when the paid shift begins. This represents the official start of the staff member’s paid working period.
End Time :
Shows the time when the paid shift ends. This represents the end of the staff member’s paid working period.
Example : A shift may run from 09:00 to 20:00, indicating the start and end time of the paid working hours.
Add Shift
The Add Shift button allows users to create an additional paid shift for the selected date.
This feature is useful when a staff member works multiple shifts within the same day, such as:
- Morning shift
- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
These are commonly referred to as split shifts.
Edit Paid Hours
When adding or editing shifts, a shift management window opens for the selected date.
This interface allows administrators to add, update, or remove paid shift entries.
Start Time
Select the time when the paid shift begins. This represents the official start of the staff member’s paid working period.
End Time
Select the time when the paid shift ends. This represents the end of the paid working period for the staff member.
Remove Shift
A delete icon is available next to each shift entry. Selecting this option removes the shift from the selected date.
Repeat Schedule
The Repeat option allows the same paid shift to be automatically applied to multiple days.
Users can configure the shift to repeat based on different scheduling options such as:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Custom schedule
This helps reduce manual work when creating recurring staff schedules.
Close : Use the Close button to exit the shift management screen without saving any changes.
Save : Click Save to apply and store all changes made to the paid shifts for the selected date. Once saved, the updated shift schedule will appear in the daily shift list.
