Service Limit
The Service Limit page allows administrators to define how many times a particular service can be performed within the system. This feature helps control service usage and ensures operational limits are properly enforced.
Administrators can view existing service limits, add new limits, modify existing ones, or remove limits when necessary.
Search
The Search field allows users to quickly locate a specific service in the list.
By entering a service name, the table will automatically filter and display matching records. This makes it easier to manage service limits when the system contains many services.
Service Limit List
The main section of the page displays a list of all configured service limits.
Each row represents a service and the maximum number of times that service can be provided according to the configured limit.
The list includes the following information:
Name
Displays the name of the service. Examples may include:
- Lash Lift
- Waxing
- LED Therapy
- Massage
- Skin Tag Removal
- Facial Treatments
This helps identify which service the limit applies to.
This helps identify which service the limit applies to.
Shows the maximum number of times the service can be performed within the configured context.
For example:
- A value of 1 means the service can only be performed once within the defined limit.
- A value of 2 means the service can be performed twice.
- A value of 4 allows up to four occurrences.
This setting helps regulate service availability and prevent overuse.
Status
Indicates whether the service limit is currently active.
Active : The service limit is currently applied and enforced within the system.
Inactive : The limit exists in the system but is not currently enforced.
Actions
The actions column allows administrators to manage each service limit entry. Available actions typically include:
Edit : Allows administrators to update the service limit or modify the status.
Delete : Removes the service limit from the system.
Use this option carefully, as deleting a limit removes the restriction completely.
Add Service Limit
The Add Service Limit button allows administrators to create a new service limit.
When selected, the system opens a form where users can define:
- The service name
- The allowed service limit
- The status of the limit
Once saved, the new limit will appear in the service limit list.
Add / Edit Service Limit
The Add Service Limit page allows administrators to create rules that control how many times specific services can be booked or used within the system. This helps maintain operational control and ensures services are not overbooked beyond defined limits.
Administrators can configure limits for individual services or groups of services and define how many times those services may be used.
When editing an existing record, the same page is used to update or modify the previously created service limit.
Service Limit Details
The form on this page allows administrators to configure the service limit by entering the required information.
Name
The Name field is used to enter a meaningful title for the service limit.
This name helps identify the rule easily within the system. Examples include limits such as monthly usage restrictions or session caps for specific treatments.
Clear naming helps administrators quickly understand the purpose of the configured limit.
Limit
The Limit field defines the maximum number of times the selected services can be booked or used.
This value determines how frequently the chosen services can be performed according to the rule being created.
For example:
- A value of 1 allows the service to be used only once.
- A value of 2 allows the service to be used twice.
- Higher values allow more usage based on operational requirements.
Service Type
The Service Type dropdown allows administrators to select the category or type of service to which the limit applies.
Selecting a service category helps organize and filter the available services within the system.
Services
The Services dropdown allows administrators to select one or more specific services that should follow the defined usage limit.
Multiple services can be selected so that the same limit rule applies to all of them.
A View Selected Services option is available to quickly review which services are currently included in the rule.
Status
The Status setting determines whether the service limit is currently applied.
Active : When set to Active, the system enforces the defined limit for the selected services.
Inactive : When set to Inactive, the limit remains saved in the system but is not enforced.
Description
The Description field allows administrators to add optional notes explaining the purpose or rules of the service limit.
This section can be used to document internal guidelines or provide context for other administrators managing the system.
Action Buttons
Cancel : The Cancel button closes the page and exits without saving any changes.
Submit : The Submit button saves the configured service limit and applies it to the selected services.
Once saved, the rule becomes available in the Service Limit list and will be enforced according to its status.
