Kiosk Mode

The Kiosk Mode setting allows administrators to enable or disable kiosk access for individual branches. When enabled, staff can hand a tablet or device to customers, allowing them to complete self-service actions independently.

Customers can perform selected actions without staff assistance, while access remains protected using a secure PIN return process.

Overview

Kiosk Mode provides a controlled self-service environment for customers within each branch.

Customers can access selected features directly from a kiosk device including:

  • Consultation forms
  • Appointment booking
  • Loyalty points access
  • Loyalty card access
  • Customer self-service actions

The kiosk remains locked behind a secure 4-digit PIN to prevent unauthorized administrative access.

Branch Kiosk Management

Each branch can have Kiosk Mode configured independently.

Available Actions
  • Enable kiosk access for a branch.
  • Disable kiosk access for a branch.
  • Manage branch-level kiosk availability.
  • Control customer self-service availability.
Enable All

The Enable all option activates Kiosk Mode for all available branches at once.

Purpose
  • Reduce setup time.
  • Apply kiosk availability across all locations.
  • Standardize customer self-service access.
Result

All branch status switches are turned Enabled.

Disable All

The Disable all option deactivates Kiosk Mode across every branch.

Purpose
  • Temporarily suspend kiosk access.
  • Prevent customer self-service usage.
  • Apply centralized kiosk control.
Result

Branch Status Controls

Each branch displays its current kiosk status.

Enabled

When enabled:

  • Customers can access kiosk features.
  • Self-service functions become available.
  • Staff can hand over the kiosk device safely.
  • Customer actions remain restricted to kiosk permissions.
Disabled

When disabled:

  • Customer kiosk access is blocked.
  • Self-service actions are unavailable.
  • Staff-only workflows remain active.
Managing Kiosk Mode

To update kiosk settings:

  1. Open General Settings.
  2. Select Kiosk Mode.
  3. Locate the required branch.
  4. Toggle the status switch.
  5. Changes are applied immediately.
Security Notes
  • Administrative areas remain protected.
  • Customers cannot access staff functions.
  • A 4-digit PIN is required to return from kiosk mode.
  • Review enabled branches periodically.
Best Practices
  • Enable kiosk mode only for active customer-facing locations.
  • Use kiosk access during busy service periods.
  • Verify branch settings regularly.
  • Disable kiosk mode for maintenance or operational changes.
