Appointments (Monthly Calendar View)
The Appointments page provides a full monthly calendar view of all scheduled bookings. It gives managers and front desk staff a quick overview of daily appointment volume and allows fast navigation to detailed booking information.
This guide explains how the calendar works and how to view all appointments for a selected day.
Page Overview
The Appointments page displays:
- A monthly calendar grid
- Daily appointment indicators
- Quick navigation controls
- A popover list for busy days
Each day cell shows the appointments scheduled for that date.
Month Navigation
At the top of the calendar, you can:
- Move to the previous month
- Move to the next month
- Jump back to Today
The calendar updates immediately when the month is changed.
Month Display
The current month and year are shown at the top center of the page.
This helps confirm the active calendar period.
Calendar Grid Structure
The monthly calendar is organized by:
- Weekday columns (Sunday to Saturday)
- Date cells for each day of the month
- Appointment badges within each date
Each date box provides a quick snapshot of that day’s schedule.
Appointment Indicators in Calendar Cells
Inside each date cell, you will see colored appointment tags.
What Each Tag Represents
Each tag typically shows:
- Appointment start time
- Booking indicator color
- A shortened client reference (for internal use)
Only a limited number of appointments are displayed directly in the cell to keep the calendar clean.
“+ More” Indicator
When a day has many bookings, the calendar shows a “+ more” indicator (for example, “+30 more”).
What This Means
It indicates that additional appointments exist for that day but are not fully visible in the calendar cell.
Viewing the Full Daily List (Popover)
Clicking the “+ more” link opens a popover panel that displays the complete list of appointments for that selected day.
Popover Contents
The popover shows:
- All appointments scheduled for the selected date
- Appointment times
- Booking color indicators
- Scrollable list when volume is high
This allows staff to quickly review busy days without leaving the calendar view.
Appointment Color Meanings
Colors help identify the booking source or status at a glance.
Green Appointment Indicates a completed service.
Aubergine (Purple) Appointment Represents appointments booked via phone.
Grey Appointment Indicates appointments booked through the online system.
Brown Appointment Represents cancelled bookings.
Red Appointment Indicates a no-show appointment.
